Experimenting at Kits Point, Vancouver BC
I went out shooting today and tried a mixture of long exposures and multiple exposures. The sun was out and the clouds were beautiful! A great day for making images :)

Vancouver in Flames
June 15 2011, the Vancouver Canucks lost the Stanley Cup to the Boston Bruins. Frustrated with the loss, angry fans revolted against the city, tearing it apart.
The day after the riots, disappointed citizens came together to clean up the mess that was left over in their beloved city.

Long Exposure
Yesterday we went to Crescent Beach in White Rock to practice long exposures. In order to get this effect, we had neutral density filters on our camera's and left the shutter open for several minutes. We had a good time and it was a nice change having class outside of the classroom!

Photoshop Final!
For my photoshop final project I incorporated all that I have learned in photoshop thus far (Color Balance, Retouching, Masking, Editing, Blending, and Working With Layers) to create an unusual image. I took a portrait of someone in my class and added features from other people in my class. The eyes, nose, left eyebrow and monkey head are a combination of my classmates.
