Week 9

Just started learning about colour management and understanding RGB, lighting and bit depth.

I am still working with Form and Content and trying to create images that grab attention. I've attached a few images I am currently working on...

Photoshop Fun!

This week we learned about masks in Photoshop. These are a couple examples I did using masks and layers to create cool images... and they were fun!

Light painting with Models!

Today we worked in groups light painting models in our studio. It was fun, but challenging to work in a large group. Our teacher was getting very excited about our shots and running back and forth between the rooms to give input.

Form and Content

Last week we started learning about form and content and how important it is to take images that stand out amongst the crowd. Our assignment was to take a series of photos that embodied: The Golden Means Ratio, Diagonal lines, Asymmetrical Discord and Drama, Surface Texture, Perspective, Symmetrical Composition, Pattern/Visual Rhythms, Horizon View Point and Closure.

Photoshop, Light Painting, and Night Photography!

So far this week we've been studying Night Photography, Light Painting and playing around in Photoshop. Below are a few samples...
